Privacy policy

Last updated: July 2026

Tiny Acorns ("we", "us") runs preschool dance sessions for families in Otley and Yeadon. This policy explains what information we collect when you register class interest, book a session or send us an enquiry, why we collect it, and what your rights are. We keep this short and only collect what we genuinely need.

What we collect

We do not collect or store your card details. Card payments are handled entirely by our payment provider (see below).

Why we collect it, and our legal basis

Who we share it with

We only share your information with the services that make bookings and emails work:

We never sell your information. If you allow advertising cookies, limited booking-measurement information is shared with Meta as explained below.

Advertising cookies and Meta

With your permission, we use the Meta Pixel to understand whether visits from Facebook or Instagram adverts lead to enquiries or bookings. The Pixel is not loaded unless you choose “Allow advertising cookies”. You can reject it and still use every part of this website.

When Stripe confirms a paid booking, our server may send Meta the purchase value, currency, time, page address, Meta attribution identifiers and a protected one-way hash of the parent's email address. We do not send Meta a child's name, age, notes, class details or payment-card information. Meta uses this information to measure adverts, attribute bookings and improve advert delivery.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using Cookie settings in the website footer. Our legal basis for optional advertising tracking is your consent.

How long we keep it

We keep booking records for as long as needed to run our sessions and meet our record-keeping obligations, then delete them. Enquiry messages are kept only as long as needed to help you. Class-interest registrations are retained for 12 months from the latest submission unless you ask us to remove them sooner. You can ask us to delete your details at any time.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop using it. Just email steph@tiny-acorns.co.uk and we'll sort it out. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you're unhappy with how we've handled your information.
